Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle airport sits roughly 45 km from Disneyland Paris. On paper it is half an hour of motorway. In practice, everything depends on your landing time, the number of suitcases and who is travelling with you. Here is what to know before deciding.
Real journey time depending on the hour
The usual route follows the A104 ring road then the A4 to exit 14, Val d'Europe. With clear traffic, allow 40 minutes door to door, Disney hotel included.
Traffic around Roissy, however, is heavy at specific hours. What we observe daily:
- 06:00 – 09:30: 55 to 80 minutes (peak flow towards east Paris)
- 10:00 – 15:00: 40 to 50 minutes, the smoothest window
- 16:00 – 20:00: 60 to 90 minutes, the A104 saturates regularly
- After 21:00 and at weekends: 35 to 45 minutes
Late arrivals and night flights
Many long-haul flights land at CDG between 21:00 and midnight. At that hour shared shuttles are infrequent or finished, and the RER means two changes with luggage.
A private chauffeur waits for your actual landing: the flight is tracked, and if you are three hours late the chauffeur is still there, with no waiting surcharge. That is what makes the night manageable with tired children.
Families, strollers and large suitcases
This is the real deciding factor. A family of four with four suitcases, a stroller and cabin bags does not fit comfortably in a standard sedan.
Our two categories cover every case:
- Sedan: up to 3 passengers, 2 large suitcases + 2 cabin bags
- Van: up to 7 passengers, 6 to 7 large suitcases, ideal with a stroller
- Child seats and boosters provided free of charge — just tell us when booking
- Stroller folded in the boot or laid flat in the van, at no extra cost
The available options, one line each
RER B then RER A via Châtelet means two changes with luggage and about 1h30. The Magical Shuttle is affordable but serves several hotels before yours. A taxi is available but metered, so unpredictable at peak hours.
A private transfer remains the only door-to-door option with a fixed price agreed in advance and a name-board welcome in the arrivals hall.
